Asian-style clothing brand, from a quick-launch store to two live sites and a third underway
Miaowser is a brand of exclusive clothing in Asian and Eastern styles. Its patterns are developed in Jeonju-si, South Korea. Fabrics come from European mills: Eastern Europe, Turkey, Portugal, and the Caribbean. Production is in Tver; samples are made in Moscow. At launch, the brand needed an online store on a minimal budget with the fastest possible time to market. As it grew, it needed a full redesign that matched the caliber of the product, and separate sites for different markets.
The first task was to bring the brand to market on a minimal budget and a tight timeline. We took a ready-made theme from Envato, adapted it to the brand, and launched the online store. This let the brand start selling and gathering feedback long before a full-fledged product was ready.
For several years, we added functionality as the brand grew: catalog expansion, product range management, and service integrations. All changes were rolled out while the store kept running, with no downtime.
The brand had grown and needed full-fledged visuals and functionality. We created a high-contrast black-and-white design — restrained and graphic, it makes the clothing photos stand out. We built a user-friendly catalog tailored to the brand’s specifics.
We built pre-order functionality: customers can order items from upcoming collections before production starts. We connected the Robokassa payment gateway to accept payments and the CDEK courier service to calculate and book deliveries. We set up an automated flow from cart to tracking number.
We wrote a Telegram bot that notifies administrators of new orders in real time, once payment has gone through. We brought the site into compliance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ (Russia’s personal data law): consent records, blocking trackers until consent is given, and checkboxes on order forms.
In August–September 2026, we launched mwzr.ru based on the main site: a separate site for collections aimed only at Russia. It shares the codebase but has its own catalog and settings, so the brand can serve the Russian market with a localized range without mixing it into the international one.
Now in development: the brand’s site for the Korean market, with localization and adaptation to the region’s payment systems and logistics. It will be the third site on the shared product base.
